FOR ADVENTUROUS TASTES ONLY

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is a friendly, leisurely, communal affair around a refectory table dominated by a set of grain weighing scales, or al fresco on balmy days on the terrace overlooking the town and countryside beyond. At breakfast we cater for most tastes - carnivores, omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, healthy and unhealthy eaters.

Start with a buffet of cereals, home-made muesli or granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Follow this up with seven choices of breakfast including American, Healthy, Continental, Horribly Healthy and English (five of them vegetarian, one vegan) and occasional specials such as Passionate Pancakes and Blueberry Waffles. All ingredients are GMO free, 95% are organic and Fair Trade where possible. End with white or homemade wholemeal toast and Peter's Dad's marmalade or Priscilla's Mum's Quince jam and whatever home made preserves the local WI market has come up with.

DINNER

The town of Bradford on Avon can offer food in the evening to suit most palates, from nouvelle cuisine country house hotel cooking to a simple take-away, with plenty of choice in between.

However, if we are not serving dinner and you really don't want to stroll down into town after a long and tiring journey, at short notice we can usually provide an individual soup tray with home made soup, Priscilla's Mum's wholemeal rolls, cheese and apple juice.

Or, with sufficient notice and a little arm twisting, an ethnic feast can be prepared - all dishes are vegetarian adaptations of recipes collected from our favourite parts of the world: MEXICAN, THAI, NEPALESE, GAMBIAN, JAMAICAN and others. Wherever possible we use vegetables and fruit from our allotments, greenhouse and garden, the rest come from the organic stall on Bradford on Avon's Market and the excellent ethnic shops in Bristol. Please note that Priscilla can be temperamental and does have her off nights - sorry, nights off - so check well in advance if dinner is available!
